Your community hears about the stream without you remembering to tell them

The moment a stream goes live is the worst possible time to be typing an announcement. Nephthys watches the linked accounts and posts it for you, in the channel you choose, with your wording, and optionally with a role ping.

Five platforms, one interface

Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Trovo and X are each set up separately in the dashboard. For every link you decide which Discord channel the post goes to, so streams can land somewhere other than new videos instead of everything piling into one catch-all channel.

The wording is yours

Instead of a generic default message you write what should appear in the channel. That way the announcement sounds like your server rather than like a bot. A role can be pinged along with it, so only the people who opted in themselves get a notification.

No duplicate announcements

A stream that has been announced once is not announced again, even if the connection drops briefly and the stream looks new. This is exactly where simpler solutions fall over, and nothing annoys a community more reliably than the same announcement three times in a row.

The commands for this

These slash commands belong to this module. Discord shows them with a description as you type, so nobody has to memorise them.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly does the notification arrive after a stream starts?

Nephthys polls the platforms at regular intervals, so the post appears shortly after the actual start. Quoting an exact number of seconds would be dishonest, because it also depends on when the platform itself reports the stream as live.

Can I watch several channels on the same platform?

Yes. You can register several accounts per platform. That helps on servers with multiple creators who should each announce into their own Discord channel.

Can a role be pinged?

Yes, for each link you can set a role to be mentioned in the post. Combined with reaction roles, everyone can decide for themselves whether they want notifications.
