1. Scope

These Terms of Service apply to the use of the Discord bot "Nephthys" and the associated web dashboard. By adding the bot to a Discord server or using the dashboard, you agree to these terms.

2. Use of the Bot

The bot is provided free of charge and without warranty. Use is permitted exclusively within the framework of Discord's Terms of Service (discord.com/terms).

It is prohibited to use the bot for:

  • Spam, harassment, or bullying of other users
  • Distribution of illegal, offensive, or discriminatory content
  • Automated attacks on Discord servers or other services
  • Circumventing Discord security mechanisms
  • Commercial purposes without explicit written permission

3. Server Administrator Responsibilities

Anyone who adds the bot to a Discord server is responsible as server administrator for:

  • The correct configuration of bot features
  • Compliance with applicable data protection laws regarding their own server members
  • The appropriate use of moderation features
  • Informing server members about the use of the bot

4. Dashboard Access

Access to the web dashboard is exclusively via Discord OAuth2. You are responsible for the security of your Discord account. Login credentials must not be shared with third parties. If unauthorized access is suspected, log out of the dashboard immediately and change your Discord password.

5. Availability & Disclaimer

The bot and dashboard are provided without guarantee of continuous operation or availability. We are not liable for:

  • Data loss due to technical failures
  • Service outages or individual feature failures
  • Damage caused by user misconfiguration
  • Actions of third parties using the service

6. Ko-Fi / Support

Voluntary financial support via Ko-Fi (ko-fi.com/labratox) is always welcome. Payments do not entitle you to specific features, prioritized support, or continued operation. Payment processing is handled exclusively by Ko-Fi in accordance with their own terms of service.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Significant changes will be published on this page. Continued use of the bot after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

8. Applicable Law

German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the operator's place of residence as stated in the Imprint, to the extent permitted by law.
