Anyone who runs raids regularly knows the counting: three yesses further up, two cancellations further down, and shortly before the start nobody is sure whether a healer is missing. Nephthys posts an event with buttons instead. Click one and you are on the list, and the embed keeps count right away.
Every role gets its own button below the raid. One click signs you up, clicking the same role again takes you back off. Next to those sit Maybe, Decline and Running late, so the in-between answers end up in the list instead of scrolling away in the chat.
Each role can be given a number of slots. Once it is full, the next person goes to the bench rather than getting a refusal. If somebody drops out, whoever has waited longest moves up on their own, with nothing for the raid lead to do.
The bot announces the raid in a second channel, sends everyone who signed up a reminder by direct message before it starts, and closes sign-ups at the time you set. For recurring raids it creates the next date on its own as soon as the current one begins.
These slash commands belong to this module. Discord shows them with a description as you type, so nobody has to memorise them.

If you want it to. Pick a voice channel and the server event attaches to it, so anyone joining the channel counts as attending. Without a voice channel an external event is created that links back to the sign-up.
